I think it's high time someone created a Christmas thread. You slackers. So, what is everyone going to do for the holidays? Anything exciting? I'm mainly just working at the paper (where I am right now, creating this, coincidentally) mostly, and waiting for my boy to get home in January from his trip. *shakes fist at Dave* I think I'll bake some green bean casserole, eat a heap of turkey and mashed taters, then get some major overtime at work on Christmas. Oh yeah, and open gifts.  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!  (I think that Santa smiley is a tad creepy. I don't know why.) |

yeah, same here, my cousins were over today and it was great fun and we did christmas caroles and everything but it didn't really feel like christmas..

Merry Christmas! David got me The Monster Book of Monsters along with other stuff for Christmas. It's like a stuffed animal plush thing I'll have pictures up once Shannon gets back from Texas because my USB ports don't work  |

merry christmas guys!!!!! well yesterday didnt feel like christmas at all cuz i was working 12 hours christmas day and about 11ish on christmas eve and boxing day, maybe also cuz im still not home so when i get home it will seem like christmas slightly more. on the plus side, i get to spend new years at home with my family and i cannot WAIT!!!! 2 days til im home people lol Edit from emma: now only one day left lol uniform hand in time hehe yaaaaaaaayyyyy!!!!! tomorrow im going home.  |

Awww Ems you poor thing...that doesn't sound like the best xmas!! I came back home on Xmas Eve with my goldfish in a freezer bag...not easy travelling!!!! Every time I took a step my suitcase made sloshing noises. To top it off I had to get off the train after 4 hours to go frantic xmas eve shopping for presents around town....never leave it till the last minute! My lil sis went into labour on Xmas Eve, but her waters *still* haven't broken!! But she came round xmas day and we had our nephew Harvey to play with, who's just turned 1 years old- and he was dressed in a santa suit!! TOO cute!! Boxing Day we had an indian buffet, so not quite traditional! I did wash it all down with buckets of sherry and so was passed out by 10 pm haha. Going back to uni tomorrow...sadness!! But I agree- this year has had a lack of xmassy vibes for some reason! And jo did you notice that there seems to be less xmas decorations on the fronts of houses this year?? |
